On the Ruins of Civil Religion: Memorial Conflicts and "South Nostalgia" in Modern Serbia

The subject of research is the trends rethinking Yugoslav heritage in politics memory modern Serbia. Based on study legislative acts, public speeches politicians and sociological data, authors identify main directions interpretation heritage, which include: understanding Serbian participation World War II as a civil war between various social political groups, striving to reconcile positions results for society, emergence Yugo-nostalgia specific phenomenon that reflects resentiment significant part but also an element tourism industry.
